The End - Lament of a Cornish poet -by Clive Blake by CliveBlake The End - Lament of a Cornish poet -by Clive Blake by CliveBlake

Poetry + Photography + Audio = iPad App ‘Phoetry1’ by Ross Blewett

Sixty of Cornish Poet, Clive Blake’s best loved poems, fused together with Chris Robbins’ fantastic photography, plus the voice of the poet reading all sixty of these poems.
This all brought together as an iPad App, including special realistic page-turning technology, by the very skilful Ross Blewett.

This product joins the DVD and CD which are all based on the extremely successful hard-backed phoetry book, ‘View Points and Points of View’.

Clive is featured in the United Press (UK) publications:
'The Best Poets of 2013'
'Ten of the Best' (Poets of 2013)

The End (Lament of a Cornish poet by Clive Blake) Phoetry – Visual Poetry – Concrete Poetry - Poetry

I began a poem by writing its end,
Like gunpowder exploding
Before the touch-paper is lit,
I finished that poem,
Before I’d started it ...

This 'phoem' is titled "The End” (Lament of a Cornish poet by Clive Blake) Phoetry – Visual Poetry – Concrete Poetry - Poetry,
from the 'Phoetry Book', View Points and Points of View".

I describe Phoetry as a fusion of poetry and photography.
I came up with the Phoetry concept in 1994.
Phoetry can also be described as Visual Poetry and loosely described as Concrete Poetry.

The poetry is by Cornish Poet Clive Blake cliveblake.deviantart.com/

Sometimes the inspiration goes missing. We create the perfect ending but are totally unable to find a dramatic beginning. This is both short and simple and highlights the dilemna of many a poet. Nicely done.

I like this photo, nice cool dim light blue sky with dark black ground. I like the silhouette of the man with the tool.
