No Malice Shown (Owl Poem by Cornish Poet Clive Blake -Clive Live) Phoetry - Visual Poetry - Concrete Poetry - Poetry

See the owl in swift silent flight,
Surfing the darkness of the night,
In control of its black domain,
Its prey killed quick, no time for pain.

Don't be outraged when its victim dies;
The owl's not a mugger of the skies,
No malice shown when it hunts for meat,
It leaves alone what it cannot eat!

Owl; What type of owl?
The owl in this photograph is a Tawney Owl (Strix aluco). A Tawney Owl is a medium sized owl about the size of a pigeon. The Tawney Owl is the most common owl in Britain and is also found in woodlands across much of Eurasia. This owl is of rounded/stocky build. The Tawney Owl, like all owls is a superb hunter. I'm a greaf of owls, the Tawney Owl in particular, they always look so in control and wise. Unlike humans the owl does not waste food, but only hunts for its needs! The owl looks wiser than we do and I think in many ways he probably is ...!

This 'phoem' is titled "No Malice Shown (Owl Poem by Cornish poet Clive Blake -Clive Live)” Phoetry – Visual Poetry – Concrete Poetry - Poetry,
from the 'Phoetry Book', View Points and Points of View".

I describe Phoetry as a fusion of poetry and photography.
I came up with the Phoetry concept in 1994.
Phoetry can also be described as Visual Poetry and loosely described as Concrete Poetry.
